Spring 2024 Calls for Proposals: European Programs

We offer a review of the most interesting calls under major thematic community programs. The list is not exhaustive: we invite you to consult the reference websites , i our proceeding articles and the portal Funding & Tenders for more information.

DIGITAL EUROPE

It was recently adopted by the European Parliament the Artificial Intelligence Act , i.e., the Regulation that establishes ways and limits for the use of Artificial Intelligence in Europe. An important milestone in a world increasingly marked by the impact of the new technologies. We propose below some of the Digital Europe program’s calls for proposals aimed at harnessing the potential of data and Artificial Intelligence for public benefit objectives, such as through the European Data Space .

The list is not exhaustive ( more details here ). The calls are due May 29. We do not translate the titles, as this is a very technical topic.

CERV (CITIZENS, EQUALITY, RIGHTS AND VALUES)

Many calls for proposals from one of the most important programs for civil society organizations are open (some expiring soon):

Reaching out to stakeholders in data protection legislation (April 24)
Roma equality, inclusion and participation. (April 10)
Strengthening the memory of the Holocaust, genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity to strengthen democracy in the EU (June 6)
Children’s rights and children’s participation (March 26)
Migration, decolonization, and multicultural European societies (June 6)
Democratic transition, (re)construction and strengthening of society based on the rule of law, democracy and fundamental rights (June 6)
European integration and its determinant outcomes (June 6)
Call to prevent and combat gender-based violence and violence against children (May 29)
Call to promote gender equality (April 9)

SINGLE MARKET PROGRAM

Various opportunities are open, again with various short-term deadlines, for support small and medium-sized enterprises in “green,” innovative and tourism sectors.

EU4HEALTH

We also report a call for a framework agreement dedicated to NGOs active in the health sector.
