Summer 2022 calls for proposals: LIFE, Creative Europe, Erasmus+ and with the prospect of the departure of the Structural Funds.
A summer full of news
As usual, we devote an in-depth look at the European calls to which we will be able to devote ourselves during this summer. A summer that promises to be particularly rich in news: the one proposed below is but a selection of the many calls due in the coming months.
This is the link to find out about the hundreds of open European calls for proposals. Filtering by program ( Horizon Europe , LIFE , Erasmus+ , Creative Europe and more) you can refine your search based on your area of interest.
For example, we do not list to follow the hundreds of opportunities open with Horizon Europe , because there are too many of them. Neither those related to the European Defense Fund, very specific but numerous because (unfortunately) topical. Speaking of Horizon, we point out. an interesting initiative : a list of Horizon Europe projects currently being implemented is available, which Ukrainian researchers and specialists can contact to associate with them directly, in progress, at institutes in various European cities.
Summer 2022 calls for proposals: the start of the Structural Funds is approaching
As much as the focus of this update is on European programs, the start of calls on Structural Funds for the period 2021-2027 is fast approaching with this timeline:
- On January 17, 2022, the first draft of the Partnership Agreement (which sets the framework for Structural Funds at the national level) was sent to the European Commission. A new update was published on June 10 in preparation for its approval ( here the state of the art );
- l’Partnership Agreement that regulates at the national level the use of Structural Funds was finally approved on July 19 ( here the text );
- State and regions had 90 days (starting Jan. 17) to submit national and regional Operational Programs (ROPs and NOPs), which were then sent to the European Commission between February and April;
- Approval of ROPs and NOPs must be completed within five months, so between July and September: that is, during this summer, which thus promises to be particularly interesting on the Structural Funds front as well. The first calendars of the calls that will be published following the approval of ROPs and NOPs.
Let’s not forget, also at the national level, the continuous publication of calls under the PNRR, the Italian National Plan under the Recovery and Resilience Device. .
