As reported in our post which anticipated the likely structure of community programs in the new 2021-2027 period, Horizon Europe will be the European Union’s major new instrument to support research and innovation.
A event organized on Nov. 26 at the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic University of Turin, in collaboration with APRE e ALPS – Enterprise Europe Network , analyzed the future Horizon Europe program and addressed the relationship between academia and industry in European partnerships.
At program was attended by two representatives of the DG Research and Innovation of the European Commission, with two speeches entitled “Towards Horizon Europe” and “Mission and Partnership in Research and Innovation.”
This was followed by a panel discussion devoted to the concept of partnership, with a focus on theevolution of public-private partnerships within “Horizon” projects.
It was an excellent opportunity to gather useful information about Horizon projects in the new programming period and new insights for building broader, but more importantly deeper and more effective partnerships.
For all our readers interested in the topic who were unable to attend, we recommend reading the slides of the two keynote speeches: Toward Horizon Europe ” | “ Mission et Partnership in Research and Innovation. “.
