Spring is here, and with it many new community projects due in June 2019! Many of us are surely struggling with writing a project-we hope you’ll find our Guide ‘s tips to be helpful!
With today’s update we remind you in particular of the upcoming calls under the LIFE and Rights, Equality and Citizenship programs. So many opportunities with the lowest common denominator of protecting two of the things we hold most dear: the environment in which we live and our rights!
The following LIFE (Environment component) calls will expire in June :
- Environment and efficient use of resources (due June 17)
- Nature and Biodiversity (deadline June 19)
- Environmental governance and information (deadline June 19)
We also remind, again for LIFE:
- the Integrated Projects (deadline September 5) and Technical Assistance (deadline June 12) calls: as explained on our LIFE page, these concern projects implemented on a particularly large scale and financed in synergy with other funds(Integrated Projects) and the support needed to prepare them (Technical Assistance). They concern both components of the LIFE Program, namely “Environment” and “Climate Action.”
- The calls for proposals under the Climate Action component. , due to expire after the summer (Sept. 12), articulated in the Mitigation, Adaptation and Governance/Information actions
Also in June, community calls from the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program will expire:
- Preventing and combating all forms of violence against children, youth and women (deadline June 13)
- Fighting the gender gap across the life cycle, promoting work-life balance and family care sharing (deadline June 13)
- Promote the effective implementation of the principle of non-discrimination (deadline June 20)
- Support for national platforms for Roma (deadline June 20)
Happy reading and enjoy your work!
