For you, a review of the latest European calls for proposals for the month of January 2025, posted as always on our Calls Portal.
European calls for proposals 2025: European programs
After the large number of calls on European programs published in December, news in January is less plentiful, but interesting for some specific areas.
- In the Humanitarian Aid program we have two new open calls in the area of disaster prevention, preparedness and management;
- Along the same lines is the Union Civil Defense Mechanism, which proposes three new calls for disaster prevention, preparedness and management and to promote large-scale exercises;
- Under the Single Market Program we have four new calls dedicated to the furniture, fashion, plastics recycling, and energy-intensive industries;
- Finally, we have four new calls on Erasmus+ (large-scale European nonprofit sports events), EU4Health (cooperation in oncology) and Digital Europe (cyber-certification and cyber-security), respectively.
European calls for proposals 2025: the Structural Funds
There are an increasing number (more than 50) of new calls for proposals financed by Structural Funds in Italian regions. The most active in January were Calabria and Sicily, each with 11 new calls published. Also very active were Lazio, Piedmont and Tuscany (5 new calls), followed by Lombardy and Veneto (4 new calls). New calls also published in Abruzzo, Campania, Liguria, Puglia, Umbria and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano. We also report the publication of interesting new calls under the following programs:
- Greece-Italy Cross-Border Cooperation: two calls for projects of strategic importance, focused in the areas of culture and climate change, respectively;
- NEXT-MED transnational cooperation: second call for green transition projects;
- National Inclusion and Poverty Alleviation Program: new call dedicated to social inclusion interventions for households with minors aged 0-3 years.
We remind you, as always, that many of the calls presented in our previous reviews are still open and can be accessed through our Calls Portal. We also recommend referring to the official websites for the most up-to-date and complete information.
