On Friday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m., Nesta Italia and Fondazione CRT are organizing the free online talk “Contamination between Art, Science, Technology – New Pathways to Innovation.” The event is part of the STARTS project, launched by the European Commission to promote contamination between science, technology and the arts as a growth opportunity for organizations and territories, with a view to innovative and sustainable development.
Dedicated to successful local and international collaborations between traditionally separate sectors, the talk will be introduced by Massimo Lapucci (Secretary General Fondazione CRT and General Manager OGR Torino) and Marco Zappalorto (CEO, Nesta Italia). Moderated by Simona Bielli (Head of Programmes, Nesta Italia), high-profile speakers with diverse backgrounds from design to science will speak: Giulia Tomasello (Interaction Designer, 2018 STARTS Prize Winner), Prof. Mario Rasetti (President, ISI Foundation), Jasmina Tesanovic (writer and activist), Erica Villa (Head of Programming, Science Gallery Venezia).
The meeting is aimed at professionals in the technology (companies, startups), science (research centers, universities), cultural managers and art curators, professionals and researchers in the humanities, especially art, design, architecture.
